"All Those Leftovers!" - On-Demand Class
Class Details: This is the season of leftovers. Do you have family favorite ways to use them up, delightful dishes almost better than there first role in the feast of a holiday? Do you faithfully prepare your mother's green bean casserole every year, or are you of the "Turducken" vibe? I love the "mashups" where two dishes, seemingly at odds with one another, become one and play nicely together, where sweet potatoes and cranberries become a spectacular breakfast, and turkey finds new life as an ingredient in a biscuit smothered in leftover gravy. Those fun little surprise combinations are the inspiration for this class where we will create our own mashups of cooking, recipes and art supplies. Of course, I am not advocating for an art supply stew but let's have some fun creating a page of our favorite recipes, food and kitchen décor or holiday table in our sketchbooks.
You will also receive a list of supplies to make the culinary art playdate more fun, but just bring your favorite sketchbook supplies for this anything goes project. This class will begin with a quick overview and inspiration to get you started. So gather your favorite recipes and let's get started..
