ON-DEMAND - FINDING YOUR STYLE: DRAWING AND PAINTING ELK FOUR WAYS
Class Description: In this class you will try out styles you have seen in the course of your visual perusing and find new ways to express yourself in your sketchbook. Using two images of elk, one a portrait, the other, full body, you will draw, sketch and paint it four times. In each case, you will find a new approach to this same subject with a different medium, tools and even various substrates. Sometimes stretching is a little scary and certainly challenging but together we can push to reach for new creative heights. Exercises for our creative muscles can not only stretch and challenge us, but lead to brand new discoveries about materials, tools and supplies that broaden our expression in our nature sketchbooks.
